Year 2 have been learning about the history of Bonfire Night this week. We learnt about Guy Fawkes and tried Parkin cake, a traditional spiced cake eaten in Lancashire and Yorkshire on bonfire night. It represents the bonfire and saving the King from The Gundpowder plot!

Although it is an acquired taste, Year 2 gave it a 10/10!
