In year 2 we have been learning about the 5 food groups as part of our Healthy Humans topic. We measured the sugar in 5 different breakfast cereals and we found that the cereal with the least amount of sugar was the weetabix. We tasted some weetabix and decided it needed to be sweeter. Instead of adding more sugar, we added fruit to make it sweet. We tried watermelon, mango, apple. pomegranate, banana, pineapple and strawberry. Here are some pictures of what we thought!
